We are alive

It has been a long time, just a few updates.  Not much brewing activity because the last few projects required some aging.  Lots going into the bottles and the Dax McCarty Pale is becoming the sleeper hit of the summer (now fall).  Each of these bullets will get their own post where appropriate.
  • The Aged Belgian Rye has been bottled.  Next week will be the first taste test to see if a year is worth the wait.  At bottling, it smelled incredible.  Fingers crossed.
  • The Berlinerweisse has been bottled after five weeks in the secondary fermenter and will be ready for tasting in two weeks.
  • Second batch of Belgian Rye will be ready for tasting in three weeks.
  • Will be brewing a porter aged over bourbon soaked oak chips tomorrow.
  • Birthday brought out a gift for everyone;  A special three liter bottling of Russian River's Temptation.  A top five all time for us and everyone got to have a taste of this giant version.
  • Tasting notes coming for the saga of the Grither.  It has been in the bottle for a year and it is time to detail how this one evolved.
More coming soon. . .
